In hopes of reuniting with Naevia, Crixus doesn't help; but after learning he was poisoned to ensure Spartacus's victory he decides to help. Crixus stabs Lucretia and Spartacus finally kills Batiatus in front of her. Spartacus plans to murder Batiatus, but Mira reminds him that he is risking the lives of all slaves. Spartacus is forced to fight Glaber's soldiers to demonstrate his skill. Lucretia finds out about Crixus's relationship with Naevia, who is pregnant. While struggling with his actions, he is helped by Mira. Visions of Varro and Sura haunt his dreams, and urge him to 'tend the wound.' Spartacus discovers Batiatus had a hand in Sura's death, which Crixus likes. Batiatus kidnaps senator Calavius and Ashur begins setting up Solonius to take the blame for Calavius' murder. 2 April, 2010 en-us http://watch-spartacus.com/season-1/episode-10-party-favors/ Spartacus and Crixus are to fight in an exhibition match for Numerius' 'coming of age' party, which introduces the toga. Ilithyia seduces Numerius to get Spartacus to fight and kill Varro instead. He is forced to kill Varro against his will. Lucretia thinking that Spartacus would not satisfy, makes a servant prepare him for his encounter. Ilithyia unknowingly has sex with Spartacus, but Licinia and Lucretia walk in on them. Ilithyia, in a rage, murders Licinia. Pietros struggles in the Iudus without the help of Barca. Varro is visited by his wife with unexpected news. After speaking with Pietros Spartacus learns what happened to the warriors that got left behind. Barca's plan is to purchase he and his lover's way out, while Spartacus hopes to at least see his enslaved wife, as part of a reward for a huge victory. Naevia's rejection of Crixus' gift is misunderstood to him why she refused. 12 February, 2010 en-us http://watch-spartacus.com/season-1/episode-3-legends/ The highlight of a festival is coming up, and while all the gladiators are getting ready for an important competition, Spartacus sneakily signs up to fight Crixus in the main event. Batiatus tells Lucretia that Spartacus' bravey and previous antics have 'struck a chord in the public's interest.' We discover Crixus is infatuated with Naevia who one of Lucretia's slaves. 5 February, 2010 en-us http://watch-spartacus.com/season-1/episode-2-sacramentum-gladiatorum/ As an enslaved warrior Spartacus enters training to fight as a gladiator at Iudus of Batiatus. He quickly gets a rival, Crixus who is the champion of Capua. He meets Varro, who is a fellow recruit, and becomes his ally in training. Batiatus (Spartacus' owner) makes him an offer that is difficult to refuse. Spartacus must take the test to determine whether he is fit to be a gladiator, and bests Crixus by using a small ribbon belonging to his wife when Crixus is too busy gloating. But when their allies' reveal a battle strategy that leaves their village unprotected from barbarian invaders, Spartacus leads a rebellion back to his village. When invaders attack, Spartacus and his wife escape, only to be caught by the Romans that Spartacus had deserted.
